Grit Blasting

We offer surface preparation services for all flooring and containment structures. Grit blasting media includes coal slag, corncob and steel shot. The abrasive material is chosen after thorough analysis of the flooring or containment substrate and application.

As painting contractors and coatings/linings installers, we perform on-site grit blasting prior to all material installations. Proper surface preparation ensures a clean, smooth and uniform surface, with greater paint, coating and lining adhesion to the substrate.

High-pressure water-blasting/water-jetting is also available, and recommended in certain cases. Inspection of concrete and steel substrates, and of old/installed coatings and linings, is an additional specialty we provide.

Our training and safety measures are extensive, including proper equipment, safety gear and certification for confined-space work. We also perform removal of dust particles and old coatings, linings and paints, from interior and exterior jobsites and surfaces.
